Irish and Scottish folk music — played with heart, curiosity, and a growing love for the tradition.

I came to Irish music later than the blues, but it grabbed me just as deeply. There’s something in these melodies — the way a reel lifts you, the way a slow air breaks your heart — that feels ancient and alive at the same time.

With the Weedrams I’m discovering this world step by step: the tunes, the ornamentation, the songs, the stories, the way a good session feels when everyone locks in together. A workshop with Seamie O’Dowd in Sligo — an incredibly gifted musician — pushed my Irish guitar playing further and deepened my love for this tradition. I’m still learning, still digging — and that’s exactly what makes it exciting.

Jigs, reels, hornpipes, ballads, rebel songs, and the occasional waltz. Played on guitar, mandolin, and whatever the moment calls for.
